Party Emblem
The Liberal Party emblem is formed of clean, distinctive lines and colours that symbolise reason, vitality and unity, reflecting the Party's pragmatic, forward-looking commitment to serving Hong Kong.
Liberal Party Emblem

Rooted in Hong Kong, the Liberal Party understands that the belief in “safeguarding individual freedom” is essential to keeping Hong Kong prosperous and stable.
In updating its emblem, the Liberal Party has kept to its open and pragmatic approach, upholding the ideal of safeguarding freedom and working to build a caring, harmonious society in which the interests of all sectors are fairly represented, carefully balanced and justly upheld.
The new emblem takes the character 自, the first character of 自由 (“freedom”), as its symbol, strengthening its direct association with the Party. The design centres on the human figure (人), expressing that the Party's policies are founded on the interests of Hong Kong people. The human form also gives the Party a warm, approachable and people-centred image.
The emblem is composed of two rings, symbolising connection, continuity and unity. They represent the Party's senior members encouraging the younger generation to take part in community work, with all generations working together, supporting and complementing one another.
The interlocking rings also reflect the Party's close ties with the community and its care and support for those in need. The rings extend upwards, signifying the Party's continuous growth and positive outlook. The emblem also resembles both the infinity symbol and the number 8, auspicious and positive signs full of hope and vitality.
The dot at the top symbolises wisdom and hope. Carried over from the Party's previous emblem, it expresses the Liberal Party's role as a leading party of Hong Kong, the Pearl of the Orient.
Viewed as a whole, the design has a lively three-dimensional perspective, which also conveys the Party's transparency and its standing as a professional and reliable organisation. The overall design is simple and harmonious in line, distinctive, easy to remember and understand, steady yet modern. The new emblem combines blue and green: blue stands for stability, wisdom and professionalism, while green represents boundless vitality, active progress and sustainable development, conveying energy and hope.
